So what's a Rideshare Mixer? It's a totally new concept with the idea to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where students, faculty, and staff can mix and mingle with others who would like to start carpooling or vanpooling to campus.

Get to know some new rideshare friends with the help of FREE bowling, pool, ping pong, Xbox, and Wii games. There will be plenty of FREE snacks and drinks too if you get parched in the process. Prize drawings will happen throughout the event and you can check out what's up for grabs on the Rideshare Mixer Facebook page.

If you already share your ride you can still join in on the fun! If you want to learn about ridesharing you can get tips from folks who already do it and get info about how to get started straight from UW Transportation Services, Metro Transit, and Community Transit. Hopefully you'll meet some people who you'd like to start a new carpool or vanpool with since it’s a great way to save on gas, parking and time when commuting to campus.
